Video: eNCA JOHANNESBURG - Every year South Africans look forward to hearing which song is played on radio when the clock strikes midnight. South Africans start guessing which song will be most popular on our airwaves during midnight on December 31. Among the hip hop fans, it seems AKA and Cassper will continue to battle it out.   However, radio presenter, Sicelo Hlophe, says there's no question which song will take the honours. “We’ve always known that the big song that will take us into the new year is a dance song. There’s the [option of] Durban kwaito, Big Nuz and Tira but definitely Black Coffee “We dance again”. [His] album came out in September, called “Pieces of me” that’s is the big song,” says Hlophe. Hlophe might not be too far off with his guess as interviewees tended to choose the Black Coffee hit repeatedly. Whichever song rings in this New Year, let's hope it will make the march into 2016 memorable.
