My Dearest Fellow People’s Party members,
At this time when we bid farewell to the year 2015 and enter the New Year, 2016, I wish all members of the PP a Blessed and Prosperous 2016. As the Holy Bible says, “Give thanks in every circumstance, because this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus’. We thank the Almighty God for His love and favour in 2015.
I wish to humbly encourage you to continue to love one another and retain your valuable loyalty to the People’s Party.
Finally, I wish to announce that I have appointed our Vice President, Honourable Uladi Mussa, MP, as People’s Party (PP) Acting President with effect from today, December 31, 2015, until I return to Malawi. The decision has been arrived at based on Hon. Uladi Mussa’s unwavering loyalty and extraordinary stewardship during my absence.
